As part of its commitment to international collaboration and academic excellence, Âé¶¹Íø has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with , Indonesia. The signing took place during the AppliedHE Xchange 2025 event on Sunday, 23 February 2025, at the InterContinental Bali.

This MoU marks a new chapter in Âé¶¹Íøâ€™s efforts to strengthen its global academic network, fostering research collaboration, student exchange programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Âé¶¹Íø continues its recent trend of success with its performance in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2025. These rankings are designed to give a more detailed picture of how universities perform in specialised areas of study. The methodology includes factors like academic reputation, employer reputation, research influence (citations), teaching quality, and international diversity in staff and students. The rankings aim to help prospective students identify institutions that excel in their chosen field and provide institutions with valuable feedback on their strengths and areas for improvement.

Âé¶¹Íø hosted the ASEAN Workshop on Sustainable Development 2025, organised by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UN-SDSN) Asia headquarters. The event brought together senior Cabinet members, high-level ASEAN delegates, and leading academics to generate impactful policy recommendations, supporting Malaysia’s ASEAN chairmanship in 2025.
