Biography
Dr Ong Mei Yin obtained her PhD in Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) in 2023. Her research focuses on sustainable fuel production, microwave processing, and carbon dioxide conversion for clean energy applications. She has been actively involved in multiple funded projects on biohydrogen, biodiesel, biomass conversion, and COâ‚‚ utilisation, contributing to the advancement of low-carbon energy solutions. In addition, Dr Ong is a registered Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia and a Graduate Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). She has published widely in high-impact journals and has received awards at international conferences. She also holds several intellectual properties, including industrial designs and copyrights related to microwave-based energy systems and biofuel technologies.
