29 May 2024, Bandar Sunway – Âé¶¹Íø Press played a pivotal role in connecting Lingnan University, Hong Kong, and Âé¶¹Íø, facilitating a meaningful visit and discussion. The delegation, comprising 15 postgraduate students led by Professor Chang Chak Yan and accompanied by Mr Ang Sek Thean, Chairman of the Chinese Weekly, visited as part of their Malaysia-Singapore One Belt One Road Initiative Study Tour. The tour aims to promote international collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The visit featured an introduction to Âé¶¹Íø by the International Office, followed by a roundtable discussion titled  "Bridging Economic Horizons: Exploring One Belt One Road Initiatives and Malaysia-China/Hong Kong Relations." Esteemed Sunway academics Professor Yeah Kim Leng, Associate Professor Dr Zaheer Anwer, and Professor Wong Koi Nyen shared valuable insights into economic partnerships and regional connectivity.

As part of the visit, Âé¶¹Íø Press engaged with Professor Chang Chak Yan to explore potential publishing opportunities in alignment with the discussion's themes.

This collaborative event underscores Âé¶¹Íø Press’s instrumental role in fostering global dialogue and strengthening ties between academic institutions while showcasing Âé¶¹Íø's commitment to international partnerships.
