Overview
The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) preparatory course is designed to equip learners with the skills and strategies required to succeed in the IELTS examination, an internationally recognised English language proficiency test that meets the entry requirements of many higher education institutions worldwide. The course comprises 30 hours of instruction delivered over a 10-week period and includes a full mock IELTS test to familiarise participants with the exam format and testing conditions. It is offered at no additional cost to higher-level students in the Intensive English Programme (IEP) and may be taken concurrently with their IEP studies.

Entry Requirements
Completion of secondary or high school education, or equivalent.
A pre-entry test will be carried out to ensure students have the necessary skills to undertake the programme and to determine the level of entry.
